Wine Lovers


Wine should not be intimidating. At Tap, we stand behind all of our bottles because we hand pick the entire wine list. Our goal is to introduce novice wine drinkers to exciting houses and varietals that are outside the regular medium. For the more seasoned palate, we hope to excite your desire with an approachable list of reserves, also hand selected by our sommelier. As we change the menu, we also update the wine selection. Our hope is that we can help develop the palates of our guests as well as our staff to heighten the wine and food experience. In 2017, Tap was included on Open Table’s “Top 50 Restaurants in Canada for Wine Lovers” due to our customer’s voting us “Notable Wine List”. We love wine and we love to share it with you! Tap was honoured to receive a GOLD AWARD for our Wine Program at the 2018 + 2019 Vancouver International Wine Festival.


Tap encourages Corkage for guests who would like to bring their own wine. $25/750ml bottle for the first two bottles and $50/750ml bottle thereafter.

CORKAGE FREE! Happy Hour is 3pm-5pm Wednesday to Saturday and ALL DAY every Tuesday! Bring your favourite bottle from your cellar and we will cook you dinner! Max. two bottles per group please. Corkage Free Tuesday is not offered on special events such as New Years. Thank you for understanding.

Play STUMP THE SOMM! Chef Alistair is studying for his Master Sommelier certification. If he can guess the varietal & region of your CLASSIC wine, you pay the corkage, but if you stump him, your corkage is on us. No, Yellowtail is not classic. Neither is Apothic 🙂
